Zito Lungo

Ziti lunghi is a type of long pasta, similar to spaghetti but with a smooth, tubular shape. Their length and robust consistency make them ideal for full-bodied sauces, such as ragù, meat sauces or baked dishes. Being a shape that collects the sauce perfectly, long ziti are perfect for dishes that require a balance between the pasta and the sauce. Before cooking, they must be broken by hand one by one with a size varying between 6 and 8 centimetres.
